Best part was the view - our window faced the beautiful mountain scape. Simple and modern set up - space very well utilized and room has everything we needed (would have been nice to have an extra chair). Very clean. Energetic and young vibes... love the outdoor common space with ping pong, billard tables... Staff was friendly

The welcome and friendliness were exceptional and so was the view. We arrived early and were accommodated without fuss. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a very good place in the village 15 minutes away on foot. We were concerned about noise from the highway at night but that was not a problem and I am a very light sleeper.

Very nice area with beautiful mountain views, right under the famous Mont Blanc, easy to access quite a lot of ski lifts taking you up to the ski slopes. Very high level professional ski slopes
Les Houches' downside is their council operated facilities have arrogant staff (not including the cashier staff who are very nice). Ski slopes sign posts are very very badly done and very unclear. Maps are not nicely done not clear.

I never been treated so bad by a receptionist like in this...
I never been treated so bad by a receptionist like in this hotel. I called in the afternoon trying to find out how to get there from a sports event I was attend in Chamonix, and besides saying that this was not her problem, she turned the phone off on my face. I walked for 1h20 with my bags in the middle of the night to get there. Next day I explained the reason I could not stay the 2nd night, and she prompt said she would refund me. After quite few emails and now answer, I left a review here explaining other people that if you dont have a car, its impossible to reach the place (but they do not mention this on the hotel description). So today I called the hotel to follow up about my refund and the lady she screamed at me on the phone. She said because of my review, she would not refund. And again, that was my problem how I would get to the hotel. She turned the phone off on my face again. Never had such treatment in years booking hotels for my sports events.
I would like to let everyone knows about this situation, so no one can be fooled like I was.

Great place for all the family to ski together from the oldest in our group at 64 to the youngest at 6. All our kids and grandkids have learned to ski here, with a variety of slopes and challenges for everyone. We like the Kitch Inn restaurant in the village amongst others.
Been coming here for the last 15 yrs

Les Houches is a great little ski area.
Les Houches is a great little ski area. It may not have the long runs of some resorts but we enjoyed all it had and enjoyed not having to queue for lifts. We actually had a full week of sunshine - which always helps, but is not able to be controlled.
One of the best hotels we ever had the honour yo stay at. Lovely people, easy check-in, Tesla chargers in the parking lot, massive bed, clean and did I mention the views from their outside area wow. On top of all this, tap water (still and sparkling) + coffee (really tasty) + teas selection all day long for as much as your tummy can take. Very very very highly recommend this hotel. The bus station is 1min away and there are buses to Chamonix every 20-30 minutes or you could just take the UTMB trail walk and get there in an hour. Loved it!!!
One of the best chalet we’ve ever been for our winter holidays. Modern, clean, very comfy, warm and with a huge windows with amazing view! Very well equipped, you can find everything there from JBL speaker to different spices in the kitchen to use. Everything we needed was there. Area around is quiet but we loved it, good for walks and Chamonix is very close. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you
The apartment was lovely with everything we needed - it even had a wine fridge.
All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful with our queries and requests for help.
The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely and not too busy.
Having separate towels for showers and swimming was appreciated.
Les Houches is very much a village and everyone was always friendly and helpful.
Loved the location of this property, we were located right at the bottom of Les Houches ski slope and close to the ESF office for skiing lessons. Great spot for people watching and really warm and cosy. We did capture some video on our YT channel if you are interested in seeing what Les Houches is like (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_FWJOFBQs53u-846958UNQ)
the location was amazing! only 5 minute walk (if that) from the prarion gondola, the ski school and equipment is right nearby and very fair price. The bus stop to the city centre is DIRECTLY in front of the chalet which is suer convenient. The owner was very easy to communicate with via whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again if im back in les houches
Chalet had plenty of space and has potential to be a great spot if it's maintained properly. The views of the mountains were awesome and it's easy to walk into town and access restaurants, supermarket, etc. Train into chamonix was great and also easy to get to. Facilities in the chalet were good and we were comfortable with 3 adults and a couple of kids
Cute, cozy, charming, and comfortable. The apartment is within walking distance of the gondola in a quiet area of Les Houches. The views of the mountains are amazing. The apartment is well-equipped
I liked that the location was not in the center of Chamonix. You can take the free bus or a very short drive if you've rented a car.
The view from the hotel room was great. The shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfy. The restaurant in the hotel is quite affordable and offers good food. Service desk was great and the ski storage area is particularly useful. The addition of a spa comes in handy after a long day on the slopes.
The location in Les Houches is great and make is easy to go to all attractions in the area, less than 10 minutes to Chamonix center.
The apartment is very nice, very comfortable with 2 bathrooms. the beds are good.
The view of the Mont Blanc summit from the living room doors is amazing.
Location for Les Houches is excellent. Right across the street to the main lift and bus stop to Chamonix also in front of the apartment. The "town" doesn't have much and it is a bit of a pain to get to from the train station via public transit.
We needed an overnight stop on our way back to the IOW. Lovely cosy hotel with amazing views and the breakfast was excellent. Lovely friendly staff and a dog friendly hotel / short distance from Mont Blanc tunnel
Breakfast was good and the restaurant was excellent! Room was good with a fantastic view to the Mont Blanc, Anguille du Midi and the valley. Hotel has several social areas, which was great to hang around.
lively fun hotel with a great breakfast spread. bus stop right out front so easy to get to towns with Chamonix valley. bus pass allows for free use of bus throughout the valley.
everything was perfect. Nice chalet, quiet location, close to lifts, etc. Have to have a car as life really is Cham and Les Houches is a sleepy place, but that’s okay.
Nice little room with balcony, excellent view on the mountains.
Good breakfast.
In walking distance of Les Houches train stop, bus stop nearby.
Very quiet.
